espinillo slippers

needles - 40” circular stainless steel, US 10.5 (6.5mm)
yarn version 1 - malabrigo yarn chunky, 100% wool - merino, taureg
yarn version 2 - malabrigo yarn chunky, 100% wool - merino, damask rose
pattern - espinillo slippers, luciana lopez

this project is worked in the round using the magic loop method. a turkish cast-on is utilized and the slipper is built from teh toe up. the field stitich is a reverse stockinette - knitted in purls in the round. the center portion of each slipper contains a looped detail. two versions of this slipper were knitted - the first in blue, the second in pink.
